The 4.^th Encounters on the Edge of the Empire will be held under the theme THE SEVEN CAPITAL SINS, and SIMETRIA as once again held a public contest to select the poster that will be the face of this event.

This year, the prize was given to João Cesário, from Lisbon. João Cesário had already won this same contest, two years ago, on occasion of the 2.^nd Encounters on the Edge of the Empire. Plus, two honourable mentions were given to José Carlos dos Santos from Oeiras, and Fernando José da Conceição from Cascais.

SIMETRIA has once again held the Science Fiction literary contest, this time for the 4.^th Encounters on the Edge of the Empire, which will be held under the theme THE SEVEN CAPITAL SINS.

The winner of the contest was Jorge dos Santos, with the shorty story The Orange Egg. His work will be published in our next bilingual anthology, to be released during the Encounters. Parabéns ao vencedor, e a todos os que participaram os nossos melhores agradecimentos.
